Pastor Audie Hodges and his wife Marchia have served the North Alabama United Methodist conference with more than twelve appointments over almost fifty years.

Originally from Florence, Alabama, both Audie and Marcia are graduates of Coffee High School. They both came to faith in Jesus Christ during the Jesus Revolution that began in California and moved across the U.S. in the late 1960s. Soon after Audie's conversion to Christ, he began to sense a call to ministry. It was around that time in 1971 that he met Marcia, and fifteen months later, they were married. After Audie finished college at the University of North Alabama, they moved to Lexington, Kentucky for three years while he attended and graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.

Marcia and Audie have three grown children (all married) and seven grandchildren who all live in the Greater Birmingham area. Marcia received her college degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and later her Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner training program from Mississippi University for Women.
